Our client is a world leading high volume manufacturing company.
Job Specification:
Based from their state of the art facility in the North East of England they are experiencing a sustained period of growth as the continuously develop new products and enter into new market sectors. As part of this growth they are looking to appoint a Graduate Engineer to support a number of ongoing projects and support the development of new products. Other duties will include:
- Plan and coordinate projects and take them through to fruition on time and costs.
- Operate within a structured management process with possibility for personal development.
- Contribute to continuous improvement process by applying basic knowledge in Six Sigma.
- Ability to raise commitment by good communication over several hierarchical levels.
- Degree qualified in an Engineering subject i.e. Electronic, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Project related skills and experience.
- Confident and persuasive, able to influence individuals to ensure tasks are completed.
- Excellent communication skills, able to deliver ideas and solutions effectively in management meetings.
- Ability to travel frequently.
- PC literate
