A rare opportunity has arisen within the North East Process sector for a highly motivated manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the next phase of growth for this leading business. The business is undergoing a process of restructuring and transformation, they need a Manager who is comfortable with change management and is able to operate at a strategic as well as an operational level. The MD has described the main brief of the role as being given a blank sheet of paper for operations, he needs someone who can align and manage all roles, systems and procedures, goals and people.

Your specific role will include all aspects of production and operations management including:

• KPI management - cost, quality, delivery, health and safety and morale.
• Project management of new Cap Ex projects.
• Recruitment of key team members.
• Training and development of the team.
• Systems implementation and development.
• Improvement projects.
• Customer management.
• Full HR responsibilities.

• Process industry background is essential; you will have ideally worked with liquids or paste type materials.
• You must have Cap Ex project management experience.
• Experienced Production/Operations management background.
• Results orientated.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Project management skills.
